Our Producers

Everything on our CSA menu comes from our own ranch or from local farmers we know personally. Meet the people who grow your food.

Burroughs Family Farms

Denair, CA

Burroughs Family Farms is a multi-generation family farm in the northern San Joaquin Valley, where the Burroughs family has farmed since the early 1900s. Benina and Heriberto Montes run the farm alongside her parents, Ward and Rosie Burroughs. The family is certified organic and has farmed regeneratively for decades, building their soil with compost, cover crops and rotational grazing. For our CSA, they bring their organic almonds, almond butter and olive oil.

Chico Rice

Chico, CA

Chico Rice is run by father and son Tom and Carter Knowles, the fourth generation of their family to farm in the Sacramento Valley since 1928. They grow California Japonica rice, then mill and hand-pack every bag on the farm in small batches. Instead of burning their fields, they work the straw back into the soil to build healthy ground and protect wildlife habitat.

Fiscalini Farmstead

Modesto, CA

The Fiscalini family has been dairy farming in Modesto since 1914, and the fourth generation runs the farm today. Since 2000 they have turned milk from their own herd into handcrafted farmstead cheeses like their cloth-bound Old World Aged Cheddar and San Joaquin Gold. They grow much of their herd's feed on the farm and turn manure into electricity with methane digesters.

Honest Acre Farm

Linden, CA

Honest Acre Farm is run by Matt Jones, a regenerative farmer growing fruit and vegetables in San Joaquin County. Matt farms with practices that put soil health first, and grows a wide range of seasonal produce, from carrots, beets and greens to fresh beans, apples and blueberries.

Melgard Farms

Turlock, CA

Melgard Farms is a small, family-run grain farm run by husband and wife Kris and Emily. They farm about 90 acres with cover crops, compost and crop rotation, without pesticides, herbicides or synthetic fertilizers. Kris and Emily grow, stone-mill and package everything themselves on the farm, and their flour is never bleached or enriched.

Revive Coffee

Sonora, CA

Revive Coffee is a local roaster with a cafe in downtown Sonora, a drive-thru on Striker Court and a roastery in Tuolumne City. They buy beans from suppliers that are certified organic or use Rainforest Alliance-approved practices, and roast every batch just down the road from our ranch. Visit their cafe at 81 South Washington Street.
